Simple steps to meditation for beginners.
How to clear your mind and build a staircase that leads to an empty space.
Rather than trying to sit in Meditation
( Sanskrit Dhyana ) tell yourself
I like to sit and learn how to collect my thoughts and practice concentration,
(Sanskrit Dharana).
Because this is what you’re really doing when you’re sitting and trying to meditate, and finding your mind is like a roller coaster.
Meditation, Dhyana, is the state of non attachment, thoughtless, non- thinking, bliss (Sanskrit Samadhi) and is the result of concentration, Dharana.
The reason why you are doing physical exercises, asana, is that these enable you to prepare yourself for meditation or better said the practice of concentration that leads you to a state of meditation.
