Red Shiso Leaf Juice
300 gr red shiso leaves
2 liter water
600 gr coconut sugar/ more to taste
1 cup apple cider vinegar/ more to taste
Wash shiso leaves very well.
Bring water to boil.
Add shiso leaves, stir and turn off gas.
Let the shiso leaves steam until they turn green.
The water will turn dark red.
Using a colander, strain the liquid into another pot.
Add coconut sugar, stir, and let it dissolve.
Then add apple cider vinegar.
Enjoy warm right away, serve on ice, or leave to chill in the refrigerator .
