Raw Vegan Santa Brownie Boots

Brownie Boots

2 and 1/2 cups almond meal

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup agave syrup

1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon rum

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup cacao nibs

1/2 cup cacao powder

Cashew nuts to decorate


In a mixing bowl, or in a food processor, combine all of the ingredients except the cashew nuts.

Let the brownie dough rest 20 min in the freezer .

Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough about  2 cm (1 inch )thick .

(If you don’t have a rolling pin use a chilled wine bottle. )

Cut out Santa Boot’s using a Santa Boot Cookie Cutter.

Decorate with Cashew nuts.

Place the boots directly onto the mesh screen of your dehydrator.

Dehydrate at 40 degrees C (104 degrees F ) 8 hour for soft cookies, 24 hours or to your desired consistency for harder cookies.

Enjoy warm, right from the dehydrator or, if you like chilled, from the refrigerator .

Will keep for one week in the fridge or several weeks in the freezer.
