Okra Salad Dressing



2 lime, juiced

1 tablespoon white miso

1/2 teaspoon coconut sugar

1/4 cup  Mirin

1  teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon  chili powder


In a small blender, combine all ingredients till smooth.

Chill dressing in the refrigerator.


Okra, 18 pieces


Wash okra, cut ends off.

Let water boil then  turn off heat.

Let okra steam for 3 minutes.

Drain okra into a colander.

Add a handful of ice and let okra cool down.

Salad is read to serve .

Additional you can add cherry tomatoes, spinach, sprouts or yellow/red bell peppers.

Okra and dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for a day.
