Already as a child I didn’t like drinking milk. Making milk from nuts is a healthy and delicious solution not only for lactose intolerant people. In general it’s one cup of whatever you chose, almonds, cashews, walnuts, and three cups of water. If you like your milk to be thinner just add more water when blending.
1 cup overnight soaked and rinsed nuts.
3 cups water
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Or 1 pinch vanilla beans
Blend 1 cup soaked nuts, and 3 cups water on high speed until smooth.
Strain the milk through a cheese cloth.
Fill the ready to drink milk into an airtight glass bottle.
Keeps in the refrigerator for one week.
